Watering restriction notice : (Gaspé, downtown)

The City of Gaspé informs citizens connected to the aqueduct service in the Gaspé sector (Gaspé downtown, Sandy-Beach, Wakeham, York) that due to the little rain received, the observed consumption of drinking water and dwindling drinking water supplies that a watering ban notice comes into force from June 22, 2020, until further notice.
It is therefore forbidden to water with a sprinkler your lawn, tree, plant, fill your swimming pool, wash your vehicles or use water outside. No prohibition notice has been issued for the Rivière-au-Renard and Petit-Cap sector, but the municipality is asking to use water responsibly.
However, it is possible to water plants and gardens outside, ideally with a manual watering can.
